The little band from Gingerland Ángela Tröndle and Sophie Abraham aka "The little band from Gingerland" discover the exciting world of music by using acoustic and electronic means of musical expression,both instrumentally (piano & cello) and vocally. The Duo also performs with the guest-musicians Siegmar Brecher on the bassclarinet and Philipp Kopmajer on percussion, who contribute their special timbres instrumental- and vocal-wise to the music of Ángela Tröndle and Sophie Abraham. The audience will be taken on a thrilling journey through Gingerland; Versatile and playful, humorous and subtle is their first program, to be released in March 2012 on their debut album TIME OUT TIME, a mixture of original songs and lyrics as well as musical settings of several poems. The mosaic that is the band contains very individual colours and frames the crystal clear voice of Ángela Tröndle with extremely fine nuances. But it is not just as a singer that she proves her talent but also as a composer of sophisticated yet uncomplicated sounding music.
